Fully custom

Built from
nothing, on purpose.

Most sites start from a theme and get bent into shape until it almost fits. Apex starts from a blank canvas — every layout, interaction and line of logic designed for exactly what your business does, and nothing it doesn't.

What "fully custom" actually means

Not a marketing word. Here's the honest trade-off between a template and a build designed from scratch — so you can tell which one your project actually needs.

How it goes

Four stages, in order, each one signed off before the next begins.

01

Discovery

We map what the site actually needs to do — goals, users, content, technical constraints — before anyone designs a pixel.

1–2 weeks
02

Design

Every screen designed in context, not picked from a library. You see real layouts before a line of code is written.

2–4 weeks
03

Build

Built by hand, component by component, tested as we go. No page-builder plugins holding it together underneath.

3–7 weeks
04

Launch

Deployed, monitored, handed over with documentation — and support afterwards if you want it.

Ongoing

What we build

If it has real logic behind it, it's a candidate for custom — not just a page that describes it.

Booking systems

Calendars, availability, confirmations and reminders, built around how you actually take bookings.

Dashboards & internal tools

The software your team actually opens every day — not a spreadsheet held together with hope.

Storefronts & checkout

Products, cart and payment, designed without a page-builder ceiling on how it can look or scale.

Member areas & logins

Gated content, accounts and permissions, so the right people see the right thing.

Bespoke animation

Interaction designed for your brand and your content, not a library default with your logo on it.

Integrations & automation

Your site talking properly to the tools you already run, instead of copying data by hand.

Honest ranges, not a quote

The exact number depends on scope. These are the ranges real custom projects land in, so you can tell early whether we're a fit.

Foundation

From$5,500

A fully custom marketing site — home, services, work, contact — designed and built from a blank canvas, no theme underneath.

Build

From$12,000

Custom product surfaces: booking flows, client portals, storefronts — real logic, not just pages.

Platform

From$22,000

Multi-role systems: dashboards, permissions, integrations — the whole operating layer underneath the site.

Every engagement opens with a paid discovery sprint. You get a real scope and a real number before either of us commits to more.

Questions worth answering upfront

Why does a custom build cost more than a template?

Because nothing is reused. Every layout, interaction and piece of logic is designed and built for your business specifically, rather than adapted from something that already existed. You're paying for the thinking, not just the page.

How long does a bespoke build actually take?

Most projects run six to fourteen weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on how much of it is genuinely new. You'll get a real timeline at the end of discovery, not before.

Can a custom build still use off-the-shelf parts?

Often, yes — a payment processor, a booking engine, an email provider. Custom means the experience and the logic are yours; it doesn't mean reinventing plumbing that already works well.

What happens after launch?

You own the code outright. We offer ongoing support and iteration if you want it, but nothing here locks you into us — that's the point of not building on a platform.

Is fully custom right for every project?

No, and we'll tell you if it isn't. If a strong template gets you live faster and does the job properly, that's what we'll recommend instead.
